Great Blue Heron

gbm Well I figure it is time to post and comment on my site. Much of what remains at GreatBlueMedia is out of date and I haven’t uploaded anything in a at least two years now. I have been working on setting up a new site with a face-lift from its current state, including a switch from .html to .php and some new dynamic tweaks I have taught myself. Of course, that endeavor competes for my attention with my kids, studying at Walden, renovating my house, attending running camps and clinics, and preparing for the coming school year. As of right now I am currently logging approximately one hour on GBM every week–which basically means I am logging in and logging out.

If you are visiting the site, navigate to the eportfolio and enter “roman” to access the site. Once there, navigate to “examples of student work” and check out this student piece that incorporated technology in an assessment product for English. Students love using technology in the classroom, both for instruction and for production. How could you not want to promote eLiteracy in students?
